Paid builds require online activation on one computer and a signed offline allowance of up to 30 days. The app checks at launch and daily while running; outages preserve the current allowance, and verified revocation uses the existing input-cleanup gate. Adds explicit transfer confirmation, online deactivation, offline warnings, accessible licence recovery, trial-preserving record migration and secure installation identity. Site licence/privacy wording and release configuration checks are included.
Closes #1239. Backend prerequisites switchifyapp/switchify-supabase#18 and #19 and verifier #1240 are merged. No production deployment, version bump, tag or release.
Validation: Node 24 / Rust 1.97.1; prediction-model, lint, 323 UI + 23 Node tests, app/site builds, cargo fmt, all-target clippy with warnings denied, 871 Rust unit + 9 configuration tests pass (4 existing ignored). Tests use fake input, keychain and network adapters. Regression coverage includes outages/replay, refunds, transfers, clock correction, migration, delayed mirror reads, stalled writes and unreadable-file recovery. The latest rebased head ecc7c38 is independently reviewed with no findings and has an identical complete tree to previously green c375369; fresh required CI must pass before merge.
Still pending before rollout: lease signer setup and coordinated TEST backend deployment, installed Windows/Parallels sandbox proof, Mac native Keychain checks and physical held-switch/recovery checks (hardware unavailable). The v1.4.0 release remains held. Owner has authorized merge and pull when checks pass.
