🌱 We are the Stevens Visualization Lab, a research lab at Stevens Institute of Technology. Our mission is to help people make sense of complex data. We combine methods from AI, data science, and human-computer interaction to develop interactive systems for data visualization and analysis.

⭐ Our Work: We have developed interactive systems for visualizing text documents, tabular data, and knowledge graphs, tackling hard problems in sensemaking, human-AI collaboration, and AI trustworthiness, with applications across education, data science, intelligence analysis, interactive machine learning, ocean science, and graphic design.

💞️ Our Members: We employ undergrads, Masters, and PhD students at Stevens, as well as hosting visiting research scholars and interns both. Reach out and say hi!

💼 Our Collaborators: We've tested our tools in practice with engineers, analysts, educators, and scientists at the NSF AI ALOE Institute, NSA, MIT Lincoln Lab, NASA JPL, Adobe Research, the NC State Laboratory for Analytic Sciences, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.
