• DropdownManager closes its menu when a link in it is followed (a click on .ss-c-dropdown__menu a[href]) and on a pageshow that restores the page from the back/forward cache, for a native <details> dropdown and a button-triggered one alike, so a same-page link or a restored page no longer shows the menu still open. A link that should leave the menu open opts out with data-ss-dropdown-keep-open (on the link, or on the root for the whole menu). Consumers can drop their own delegated listener (such as citney-chat's ribbon.ts). destroy() removes both listeners.
• --ss-grid-cell-size (1.25vw; 5vw at 768px and below) for viewport-proportional background grids.

• Breaking (cascade): the scapepress parity shim (32-utilities/_scapepress-parity.scss, about 890 KiB in @layer ss.compat) is gone. Its 2,251 class blocks keep every ss-c-* name and now live in native module partials, 31-modules/<module>/_<module>.sites.scss, in @layer ss.components, forwarded ahead of every module so a native rule still wins at equal specificity. New modules include lightbox (lb), grid-square, grid-dots, site-header, page-header, programme, series-card, system-card, section and visual; families an existing module covers sit in its folder (hero, footer, button, badge, ribbon, ...).
• Those rules read --ss-* tokens instead of the sites' Sass prelude and about 176 custom properties that were defined nowhere (--spacing-md, --color-accent, --font-mono, ...): about 1,160 declarations that silently did nothing now apply (e.g. the .ss-c-hero__actions gap). Scale values snap to the nearest native step (22px becomes --ss-font-size-xl), status colours use --ss-color-success/warning/error, and component knobs (--series-card-*, --grid-dots-*) keep their names with the site default as fallback. Undefined custom properties without a fallback in the compiled bundle drop from 1,264 uses to 5 (all pre-existing native).
• Where a site class collided with a native rule (ss-c-hero, ss-c-lead, ss-c-pill, ss-c-icon, ss-c-frame_main*, ss-c-ribbon__nav*, ...), the native rule is canonical and the site declarations are dropped, including a few !important ribbon overrides.
• The site partials (31-modules/*/_*.sites.scss) read tokens instead of the sites' literals: 591 colours (hex, rgb()/rgba() and named white/black) moved onto --ss-color-* (neutrals onto the gray / white / black palette, chromatic colours onto the accent / info / success / warning / error families, tints via color-mix()), 135 dead
