Adds a Skillbook entry and a matching Promptbook entry for keeping dependency updates grouped, delayed, pinned, and safely merged.
dependency-update-automation-guardrails: one bot per ecosystem (Dependabot vs Renovate comparison for grouping, cooldown / minimum release age, schedules, auto-merge, action pinning, security updates); risk-based groups for Maven/Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Docker; small open-PR limits; actions pinned by SHA and images by digest; Spring Boot moved as one BOM group with justified overrides only; auto-merge limited to patch/minor tooling, test, action, and digest updates behind required checks; a minimalpull_requestauto-merge workflow; registry credentials by reference; bot config under CODEOWNERS and validated.configure-grouped-dependency-updates: step-by-step setup that inventories coverage and pinning, writes groups, schedules, and cooldowns, pins actions and images in a separate commit, handles Spring Boot overrides, gates auto-merge on required checks and repo settings, and proves that a failing patch, a major, and a Boot minor do not auto-merge.Catalogs go to 44 skills and 44 prompts.
