netlify logs had no way to read Netlify Server logs.
This adds --source server, backed by the same server logs endpoint the UI's server logs page uses:
History pages through the window. The API stops paging 10,500 lines back; when that cuts the window short the command warns (on stderr with --json).
--follow polls every 2s with a 10s look-back, as the UI's live view does, and prints only lines it has not printed yet. It stops on a 401, 403 or 404 and reports other failures without stopping.
--deploy-id and --url are rejected with --source server, since server logs are not tied to a deploy.
The source is opt-in; the default stays functions and edge functions.
`netlify logs --source server` reads a site's Netlify Server logs from the
observability API, the same endpoint the UI's server logs page uses. History
pages through the window; `--follow` polls it every 2s with a 10s look-back
and drops lines it has already printed.
Server logs are not tied to a deploy, so `--deploy-id` and `--url` are
rejected with `--source server` instead of silently showing every deploy's
logs. Following stops and reports a 401, 403 or 404 rather than polling
forever, and the truncation warning goes to stderr under `--json`.
Identical lines are matched by count against the previous poll, so a line
logged twice is not dropped by the overlap. A run of failed polls is
reported once while following keeps retrying.
It looks like this branch is under active development. To avoid overwhelming you with review comments due to an influx of new commits, CodeRabbit has automatically paused this review. You can configure this behavior by changing the reviews.auto_review.auto_pause_after_reviewed_commits setting.
View server logs alongside other log sources for a selected time range or in follow mode.
Server log entries show their source, actor, and severity, with historical results displayed oldest first.
A warning indicates when historical server log results are truncated, including when output is requested in JSON format.
Usage Notes
The --url and --deploy-id filters cannot be used with the server log source.
The logs command now supports server logs as a source. Historical mode fetches paginated logs for the requested time range and reports when results are truncated. Follow mode polls for new server logs. The command rejects server requests combined with --deploy-id or --url. Tests cover retrieval, streaming, command behavior, and output. Documentation includes server-log examples.
No merge-blocking runtime risk is established; only the prohibited explanatory comment remains.

⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Return a failure status when server following stops on an HTTP error.
If a server-only follow request returns 401, 403, or 404, streamServer stops polling and calls logError. That callback writes to stderr but does not mark the command as failed. With no remaining stream, the command can exit with status 0 despite retrieving no logs. Propagate permanent stream failure to the command's exit status. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Remove the explanatory comment near the server log source ID display logic;
leave the surrounding code unchanged unless the eight-character display length
needs a named constant to make the behavior self-explanatory.
