Hi there 👋

I'm Federica, a product-minded software builder from Turin, Italy 🇮🇹.

I build mobile-first and web products with React Native + Expo, Next.js and TypeScript — and I spend most of my time these days in open-source AI: local-first, BYOK, model-agnostic tooling I can actually read, fork and own.

I'm an open-source advocate. I'd rather build on something I can inspect and run myself than rent a black box.

  • Mobile: React Native, Expo / Expo Router, New Architecture
  • Web: Next.js, React, Tailwind
  • Backend & infra: Supabase, Cloudflare (Workers, R2, Pages), Node / Express
  • State & data: Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, SQLite, AsyncStorage, react-hook-form, Valibot
  • Open-source AI: DeepSeek, GLM and open-weight models — plus the tooling around them: OpenWork, open-design, OpenCode

🌱 Currently

  • Doing most of my building in the open-source AI space — skills, harnesses, agents and design systems
  • Using and advocating open, model-agnostic tooling over closed stacks
  • Still in Turin, still chasing technology with purpose
