Summary

The Claude plugin directory put the Claude plugin on a policy hold: "Uses a credential from the user's machine" (MCP_FORWARDS_CREDENTIAL_ENV).

The directory scans all folders in plugins/macaly-code, not only the Claude files. It found $MACALY_API_TOKEN in skills-codex/build-app-on-macaly/SKILL.md. It read the token as a credential on the user's machine that the plugin sends to the MCP server. This is a false positive. The token exists only in the Macaly cloud sandbox, and the agent never reads it.

Changes

  • skills-codex/build-app-on-macaly/SKILL.md and skills-cursor/build-app-on-macaly/SKILL.md: remove the $MACALY_API_TOKEN, $MACALY_BASE_URL, and $MACALY_CHAT_ID names.
  • The skills now say that commands run in the project's isolated cloud sandbox, which already has the Macaly project environment.

The agent behavior does not change. The skill_info guides run verbatim in the sandbox, as before.

This change was pushed to #7 after #7 merged, so it is not on main.

Validation

  • A search of plugins/ finds no credential names. The only match is the $ARGUMENTS slash-command placeholder.
  • claude plugin validate . and claude plugin validate plugins/macaly-code pass with no warnings.
  • The Cursor and Codex validators in scripts/ pass.
  • The directory policy scan does not run locally. Submit the plugin again to clear the hold.

The Claude plugin directory scans every folder in plugins/macaly-code.
It found $MACALY_API_TOKEN in skills-codex and put the Claude plugin on
a policy hold (MCP_FORWARDS_CREDENTIAL_ENV). The scan read the token as
a credential on the user's machine. The token exists only in the Macaly
cloud sandbox, and the agent never reads it.

The skills now say that the project command runs in the isolated cloud
sandbox, which already has the Macaly project environment. The agent
behavior does not change.
