Make QEMU guest preparation explicit and replayable - #638
Merged
Merged
Conversation
Prepare packages directly in the disposable guest root with an explicit Mere binary, downloaded public repository configuration and key, and a fresh storage tree. Populate the ext4 image from that same root instead of copying the store into another staging tree. Keep input records and setup/serial logs outside the disposable tree. Record the binary digest, architecture, trust inputs, and resolved profile so another run can request the same package identities. Retain a standalone preparation command for inspection, and document host dependencies and repository-retention limits of replay. Part of #635 and #634.
