Migrate external-issue title and description generation from the soon-to-be-deprecated
/v1/llm/generateendpoint to Seer’s registeredexternal_issue_detailsone-shot. This move is part of consolidating all LLM prompts, model selection, generation behavior, and feature attribution in Seer. The Sentry caller continues to build and truncate the same event context, preserves the existing 10-second caller timeout and output trimming, and forwards the requesting organization and user for billing attribution. Seer owns the prompt, structured response schema, model policy, referrer, generation settings, and
summarizationfeature attribution. This also removes the migrated caller from the shrink-only S030 legacy API allowlist.
Validation
tests/sentry/integrations/utils/test_external_issues.py(10 passed)The caller test verifies the exact one-shot route, ID, payload, timeout, and signed organization/user viewer context.
