description: "Summer Fellowship 2025 had 800 fellows. 100 finished and were certified, built 442 projects and solved 8,000 LeetCode problems. Here is what came out of it."
---

Our Summer Fellowship 2025 had **800 fellows**, after a first cohort of 300+ earlier that year. **100 finished and were certified**. This report covers those 100, from their own answers when the fellowship ended.

| What the certified fellows did | Total |
| --- | --- |
| Projects built | 442 (about 4.4 each) |
| LeetCode problems solved | 8,000 (about 80 each) |

## Where it led them

Of the 100 certified fellows, **59 took at least one of these paths**. Some took more than one.

| Path | Fellows |
| --- | --- |
| Landed a full-time job | 13 |
| Secured an internship | 17 |
| Cleared interviews | 16 |
| Working as freelancers | 13 |
| Contributing to open source | 16 |

## What they built

- **Real estate apps**, built by several fellows: full stack, with authentication, listings and search.
- **Multivendor e-commerce**: vendor management, payments and real-time updates.
- **Learning management systems**: course management, user roles and progress tracking.

## Beyond the code

The fellowship was never only technical. Alongside projects and DSA, fellows went through mindset talks, spiritual talks, dinner talks, weekly articles and daily reflection writing, and logged each one in their weekly reports.

## In their words

> Before joining the fellowship, my technical knowledge was limited to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Through the mentorship, resources, and structured guidance provided, I gained proficiency in React, Node.js, and the MERN stack as a whole.
>
> **Henry Anomah Yeboah**

> Real growth means understanding concepts, applying them by building projects, and then moving on to new challenges.
>
> **Alisha Fatima**

> After finishing the multivendor project, I didn't struggle with deciding what to learn/build next since the LMS project was already lined up. So yeah, mentor guidance also helped a lot.
>
> **Ehtesham Zahid**

> I also improved a lot in Data Structures & Algorithms, moving from 20 solved problems to over 120 on LeetCode.
>
> **Marryam Abid**

Not every story was a success, and fellows said so too. One wrote that it *"didn't helped me because of my inconsistency and laziness."*

## What came next

After 2025 we moved to one Fellowship a year, with tracks, milestones and accountability. Read [Fellowship 2026 by the numbers](/blog/fellowship-2026-by-the-numbers) to see what it grew into.

The [original 2025 report](/reports/fellowship-2025-impact-report.html) is kept as it was published.
