On machines without Pretendard installed, the remotely imported font can change already painted text. Serve the unmodified official Pretendard 1.3.9 variable font as one self-hosted optional face and preload it. Disable Material's redundant Google font loading while keeping the existing typography stack, theme and publisher attribution. The font asset is 2,057,688 bytes and includes its OFL license and SHA-256 provenance.
Validation: MkDocs strict builds for English and Korean; publisher output check; nine isolated local-font-disabled browser cases across 1440/320/375px and cold/warm/slow visits. No post-paint text width/height changes or horizontal overflow. Normal/cached visits use the webfont; slow visits retain a consistent system fallback. Total observed CLS reached 0.000622 from small language-menu positioning changes.
