volatile int is_freeing is not compatible with _WIN64 bit __CAS #8
Fixed in #11: the Win64 atomic layer no longer applies an 8-byte CAS to 32-bit int fields. The producer/consumer state now uses typed 32-bit Interlocked operations, and PR #11 passes the Windows MSVC CI job.
Fixed and merged in #11 (5ec82ef). Win64 now uses typed 32-bit Interlocked operations for the 32-bit state fields, and the Windows MSVC build/tests plus the Visual Studio solution build pass in CI.
