Additional details

This repo didn't have a pull request template, so every PR description started from a blank page. This PR adds .github/pull_request_template.md with the standard Cypress sections: the linked issue, additional details, steps to test, and how the user experience changed.

The checks contributors should run before opening a PR now live in AGENTS.md, not in the template:

  • PR titles: the Conventional Commits rule now covers PR titles. PRs are squash-merged, so the title becomes the commit on master that semantic-release reads.
  • Before pushing: run npm test and npm run format:check.
  • Opening a PR: fill in every section of the template, and write "No change" under the user experience section when nothing users see or do is different.

The rest of the old checklist (unit tests for lib/*-utils.ts, test apps, README updates, Cypress.expose()) was already in AGENTS.md.

Note

Low Risk
Contributor-only documentation and GitHub template; no plugin runtime or user-facing behavior changes.

Overview
Adds a GitHub pull request template (.github/pull_request_template.md) with Cypress-style sections: linked issue, additional details, steps to test, UX impact, plus CURSOR_SUMMARY placeholders for automated summaries.

AGENTS.md now documents contributor workflow: Conventional Commits apply to PR titles because squash merges put the title on master for semantic-release; contributors should run npm test and npm run format:check before pushing and complete every template section (use "No change" for UX when appropriate).

Steps to test

  1. Start a new PR against this branch, or check the description of the next PR opened after this merges.
  2. Confirm the description is filled in with the template's sections.

How has the user experience changed?

No change. This only touches contributor files, not the plugin.
