Code Marathon 2023 — flight booking website

🏅 Podium, web development challenge — Code Marathon (Systems Group / EY, March 2023) Competed solo against ~12 teams; about 5–6 hours to build it.

A flight booking site that searches real-time fares from airline data.

Features

• Free-text city search: city names are matched to airport codes with cosine string similarity (backend/utils/similarity.py).
• Live availability and prices from the Ryanair booking API (backend/utils/ryanair.py).
• Login, booking, checkout and confirmation pages.
• Reservations stored in MongoDB.
