What could be better: The main issue is test execution coverage rather than a confirmed backend defect: 24 invoice tests all stopped on the same TestSprite internal error ref e90c0e0e-1631-491d-b138-873251edabf7. This prevented verification of critical behaviors like POST /api/invoices validation, unauthenticated access handling, and ownership checks for Alice/Bob invoice reads. Only Invoice visibility and retrieval flow passed, so the suite currently gives little evidence about edge cases or negative paths. Until the blocked harness problem is cleared, it is impossible to tell whether the API correctly returns 401, 404, 422, and owner-scoped invoice lists.

Recommended next steps: First fix the test execution blockage so the invoice suite can actually run and report real API responses.
