.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md — single-concern PR checklist (matches the TestSprite blocking check)

Why it matters

Nothing here touches app behavior — app/api/*, src/autopsy/engine.ts and runtime code are untouched. This PR exists to wire and verify the TestSprite check on a pull request (required for the Season 4 project track) while adding genuine repo craft that helps others land their own PRs.

The backend run did not validate healthy behavior: every one of the 25 executable tests failed, so the score is based on the executable subset only and there were no passed tests to offset the regressions. One concrete failure shows the invoice retrieval flow breaking on schema/field mismatch: the API returned {"invoices":[{"id":"inv-1001",...}]} but the test expected an invoice_id-style shape. Evaluation details

What could be better: The API appears unstable across the full invoice surface area: list, read, create, validation, and authorization. The most visible issue is response shape drift in the invoice visibility/retrieval flow, where the backend returned id but the test expected invoice_id. Multiple authorization cases also failed, suggesting missing or inconsistent enforcement for unauthenticated and cross-user access. Validation coverage is weak as well, with tests expecting 422 for bad inputs and 400 invalid_json for malformed bodies. Since every executable test failed, there is likely a shared issue in route handlers, auth middleware, or response serialization rather than isolated edge cases.

Recommended next steps: Start by fixing the invoice API contract end-to-end: confirm the list/read/create handlers return the exact fields the suite expects, including stable invoice identifiers and ownership isolation. Then verify auth middleware is enforced before resource lookup so unauthenticated and unknown-user requests fail consistently. After that, tighten request validation so malformed JSON returns 400 invalid_json and bad payloads return 422 without creating records.
