The GitHub tarball wraps the repo in a root folder (ghostinthecodebase-main/), so packages/ghost sits at depth 3 from the extraction dir — maxdepth 2 never matched and the mac/linux installer exited with 'packages/ghost not found in tarball'. Verified working: the Windows installer (install.ps1, recurse-based) was unaffected. Tested end-to-end via the curl one-liner in git-bash after merge.
