@pcekwerike was able to build and run everything successfully and did a re-check and code changes LGTM. I fixed a missing license header and that's why this is a new PR. Tech Writing doing a final pass on README then we will be able to merge |

For posterity: I completed a review and during the process of remediating changes I needed to include ended up needing to generate this new PR. Majority of the fixes included here were from @pcekwerike's changesets and LGTM |
