Problem

On iPhone, .nds files were greyed out in the file picker (Files app and Google Drive), so no ROM could be loaded.

iOS turns the input's accept=".nds,.zip,.7z" list into system file types. .nds has no registered type, so iOS disables those files.

Fix

  • Remove the accept attribute from #rom-input in duo.html so iOS allows any file.
  • Check the extension in duo/duo.js after picking. .nds, .zip and .7z load as before. Anything else shows "Pick a .nds, .zip or .7z file" on the bottom screen and resets the input.

Testing

  • Headless Chromium on a mobile viewport: picking a .txt file shows the message and doesn't start the emulator. Picking a homebrew .nds loads and runs.
  • Not yet tested on a real iPhone.

Merging this deploys to duo-ds.alephvoid.com through the existing Duo DS Pages workflow.

iOS maps the accept list to known file types and greys out anything it
has no type for, so .nds files could not be selected. Drop the accept
filter and check the extension after picking instead.
