Verify Everything is about holding claims to a high standard. People get the benefit of the doubt.
- Critique proofs, specs and claims, not people.
- Assume good faith, and ask before assuming a mistake was careless.
- Credit others' work, and use the names and handles people ask you to use.
- Respect privacy: don't share anyone's personal information without their permission.
- Harassment, insults, or discriminatory language or imagery.
- Personal attacks, or trolling in reviews.
- Publishing others' private information (doxxing).
- Sustained disruption of discussions.
Maintainers may edit or remove contributions, and temporarily or permanently ban participants who break this code. To report a problem, use the private reporting route in SECURITY.md and mark the report "Conduct". A dedicated contact address is coming.
This code applies in all Verify Everything spaces, and when representing the project elsewhere. It is adapted in spirit from the Contributor Covenant.
