Problem

The Windows latest matrix job fails in test:integration at the host SDK dependency installation stage:

Error: host SDK dependency installation: spawnSync npm ENOENT

The script invokes npm directly through execFileSync. On Windows, npm is exposed through a command shim rather than a directly executable npm binary.

Change

Run the current npm CLI with process.execPath and the npm_execpath supplied by the surrounding npm run process. This avoids shell-dependent command resolution and keeps the exact npm installation already selected by the workflow.

The script now also fails explicitly if it is invoked outside the required npm-script context.

Validation

  • npm ci --ignore-scripts
  • npm run build && git diff --exit-code -- dist
  • npm run typecheck
  • npm test — 45 passed
  • npm run pack:check
  • OPENCODE_BIN=... npm run test:host
  • OPENCODE_BIN=... npm run test:integration — all three protocol refusal checks, expired-credential checks, and native CLI PKCE reconnect passed
  • git diff --check

Risk

Low. The change is limited to test dependency bootstrapping. It does not alter the plugin runtime, authentication behavior, credentials, or production package output.
