Hi, I'm Prince! 🤴
Final-year BSc Information Security student with a broad IT background and a current focus on cybersecurity, network and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, security engineering, and security architecture.
Before transitioning into Information Security, I studied Information Technology and gained exposure to programming, networking, software engineering, databases, data analysis, project management, mobile development, systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Cybersecurity Intern with NETWORKWALKS — Batch B082
- Currently completing the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
- Building practical cybersecurity labs and projects
- Developing further in:
- Network and infrastructure security
- Vulnerability management
- Security engineering and architecture
- DFIR
Built and configured a controlled virtual cybersecurity lab using Kali Linux and Oracle VirtualBox, including custom networking, static IPv4 configuration, troubleshooting, and snapshot-based recovery.
Performed passive OSINT reconnaissance using single-source and multi-source enumeration, with evidence collection and sanitisation of sensitive infrastructure findings.
Performed local network discovery with Zenmap/Nmap, including subnet identification, host discovery, IP and MAC address identification, topology visualisation, evidence collection, and troubleshooting.
Vulnerability Triage and Remediation Advisory Planner
My undergraduate final-year project, a two-person project in partnership with Elorm Kwasi Blabu, exploring vulnerability triage, contextual risk prioritisation, remediation advisory, and evidence-based remediation tracking.
My broader IT background includes network setup and cabling, Windows installation and configuration, system troubleshooting, security and automation systems, and virtualisation with VMware Workstation and Oracle VirtualBox.
I work comfortably with Kali Linux and the Linux command line, with exposure to IPv4 configuration, virtual networking, and network analysis.
My programming and web background includes C++, Java, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
I also participated in a professional course in Data Analysis offered through my university, where I worked with Python, Jupyter Notebook, SQL, and MySQL Workbench.
My Information Security coursework has also introduced me to Digital Forensics and Incident Response, including exposure to Autopsy.
Other academic exposure includes project management, software engineering, system analysis and design, and mobile development with FlutterFlow.
Led a three-person team during a Software Engineering course to build Hostel Buddy, a hostel booking system.
The project involved requirements, application workflows, interface design, frontend implementation, team-based development, and project coordination.
I use AI-assisted development to explore system architecture, application workflows, data models, business logic, user experience, and security implications.
