RD-T47 New Call, Updated Call and Archived Call Fixes - #153
The changes add archived-call browsing and creation, update call forms with separate coordinate fields and custom-field handling, add selected-unit map framing, and adjust close-call actions, dispatch-board fetching, and SignalR event tracking.
Adds typed archived-call API operations, year-based storage, filtering, validation, browsing, and creation. The screen supports search, filters, refresh, and permission-gated creation.
Coordinate entry and map selection src/lib/call-coordinates.ts, src/hooks/use-coordinate-entry.ts, src/components/maps/location-picker*, src/app/call/new/index*, src/app/call/[id]/edit*
Replaces combined coordinate input with separate latitude and longitude fields. Coordinates are validated and committed through the shared hook. Map picks update the location and only fill blank addresses.
Custom-field policy and controls src/lib/udf/*, src/components/calls/udf-*, src/api/calls/calls.ts, src/app/call/new/index*, src/app/call/[id]/edit*
Adds required custom-field checks, field visibility rules, dropdown controls, and UDF values in create and update requests.
Frames map views around available positions for a selected unit and crew. Adds focus details and a recenter control.
Call actions and dispatch updates src/components/calls/call-detail-menu.tsx, src/app/call/[id]*, src/components/calls/dispatch-selection-modal.tsx, src/stores/signalr/signalr-store.ts, src/components/sidebar/side-menu.tsx
Omits close actions for closed calls, forces a fresh nearest-board fetch when dispatch selection opens, adds Archived Calls navigation, and tracks unit active-role events.
Translations and supporting tests src/translations/*.json, src/**/__tests__/*
Adds translated text for archived calls, coordinate entry, and map focus. Tests cover the new APIs, stores, forms, controls, and map behavior.
An in-flight archive request can briefly show stale calls or calls for the wrong year. Correct that transition before merging if archive-list accuracy on return is required; the icon change is a separate, low-impact guideline fix.

Explanation
The title "RD-T47 New Call, Updated Call and Archived Call Fixes" matches the main changes. The PR adds an archived-call workflow (API, store, screen, and new-call form), updates call create and edit flows for custom fields and latitude/longitude entry, and hides the close action for closed calls. The title names the three areas involved. It does not name the archived-call workflow as the primary feature, and "Fixes" is broad, but the title stays on topic and is specific enough for a teammate to identify the change. The ticket prefix "RD-T47" adds no meaning on its own.

The unstructured log in src/hooks/use-coordinate-entry.ts omits the operation name and coordinate identifiers, making reverse-geocoding failures difficult to correlate; the same issue occurs at src/stores/calls/archived-store.ts:60 and src/stores/calls/archived-store.ts:100. Use a structured error log with operation, latitude, longitude, and error fields.

showYear returns without invalidating the cache when the requested year is already selected, so after creating an archived call in the currently selected year, the screen can reuse stale rows until the 60-second freshness window expires and omit the call when the user returns. The asynchronous visible-bounds check can frame stale bounds from an older pin update after a newer position update has run, because the frame() closure from update A can call fitBounds with A's old bounds after update B replaces framedPositionsRef and changes the pin coordinates. Associate each focus effect run with a generation/token and require that token to remain current before calling frame(), allowing the newest effect to check whether the latest positions are off-screen.

The no-position early return leaves framedKeyRef and framedPositionsRef populated from the previous frame, so a selected unit that temporarily loses its pins can resume reporting with the same frame key and suppress refitting while the map remains at the dispatcher's manually panned location; the web implementation has the same return path. Clear both frame refs before returning when bounds is null, and apply the same reset in unified-map-view.web.tsx.
constbounds=boundsForFocusPoints(focusPoints.points.map((point)=>point.coordinate));// Nobody has a position: the camera stays where it is, but the next position must frame again.if(!bounds){framedKeyRef.current=null;framedPositionsRef.current=newMap();return;}

The reverse-geocoding error log in src/hooks/use-coordinate-entry.ts relies on the free-form message to identify the operation instead of exposing a structured operation field alongside the coordinate identifiers and error details. Add operation: 'reverseGeocodeCallCoordinates' to the logging context.

boundsForFocusPoints computes longitude bounds with numeric min/max and ignores antimeridian wrapping, so focused crew at longitudes 179 and -179 produces a nearly 358-degree box and causes fitBounds to zoom out across almost the entire globe instead of framing the short region crossing ±180. Normalize and unwrap longitudes to select the smallest circular interval before producing the southwest and northeast corners, while preserving the wrapped interval for Mapbox.

Use the lucide-react-native icon directly, not the gluestack Icon wrapper.
Line 43 renders LocateFixed through Icon from @/components/ui/icon. The repository guideline requires the lucide component directly in the markup. Lucide icons must not receive a style prop on web, so pass size and color props only.
If you change this, update the @/components/ui/icon mock in src/components/maps/__tests__/unified-map-view.web.test.tsx (Line 115). The lucide-react-native mock already covers LocateFixed.

import { type MapFocus, type MapFocusPoints } from '@/lib/unit-map-focus';
As per coding guidelines: "Use lucide-react-native for icons and use those components directly in the markup and don't use the gluestack-ui icon component".

Invalidate pending requests when showYear changes the view.
If a call fetch is pending when showYear runs, its response can write rows and a new lastFetched value after this line resets the timestamp. The newly added call can then remain absent until the cache expires. If showYear switches years, the pending response can also display the previous year’s rows under the new selection. Increment latestRequest in showYear, and clear isLoading when invalidating the request. Add an in-flight request test for both cases.
