Summary

One rule paragraph changed (+1/-1); no second rule, runtime change or new gate.

Records Tristan's message56633 in the existing reporting owner. Updates should say what changed, the source-backed decision and next action. Repeated negative compliance lists are performance-signalling, not progress; real limitations remain attached to the action they affect. Authentic speech includes plainly reported mistakes.

Before / after

Before: the paragraph covered continuous conversation but did not name the repeated negative-sentence performance Tristan observed.
After: the same paragraph directly addresses that failure and carries his dated exact statement: “The goal is to be authentic and to be genuine.”

Verification

Read the complete owning rule and the original56633 message. git diff --check passed. Documentation only; no tests were run or claimed.

Assumed: plain-reporting.md owns reporting behavior; spine.md's existing authenticity rule remains its own declaration rather than being copied into a new rule.
