Nebula

An all-in-one essentials suite for Paper servers: homes, warps, teleport requests, economy, chat, moderation, kits, menus and more, in a single plugin built for SpaceMC.

Requirements

• Paper 1.21 or newer
• Java 21

Installation

1. Download the jar from the Actions tab or build it yourself.
2. Drop it into the plugins folder and start the server.
3. Edit plugins/Nebula/config.yml and run /nebula to reload.

Existing EssentialsX data is not migrated. If Vault is installed, Nebula registers itself as the economy provider.

Configuration

All text supports legacy colors (&a, &#ff8800) and MiniMessage (<gradient:green:aqua>text</gradient>). Sounds use vanilla ids such as entity.enderman.teleport.

Placeholders for the sidebar and tab list: %player%, %rank%, %balance%, %playtime%, %online%, %max%, %ping%, %tps%, %world%.

Chat ranks

Each group in chat.groups is bound to a permission. The first group a player has wins, so list the highest rank first.

Kits

Items are written as MATERIAL:amount or MATERIAL:amount:enchantment=level,enchantment=level. The cooldown is in seconds: 0 means no cooldown and -1 means one-time only. A kit is available when it has public: true or the player has nebula.kit.<name>.

Permissions

• nebula.admin grants every staff permission (default: op)
• Everyone by default: homes, warps, spawn, teleport requests, /back, /rtp, kits, economy, /sell, /daily, messaging, mail, /list, /stats, /sit, /trail, /ignore
• nebula.homes.<n> sets the home limit and nebula.homes.unlimited removes it
• nebula.tp.bypass skips teleport warmup and cooldown
• nebula.silent hides join and quit messages
• nebula.signs.create allows creating and breaking sign shops, nebula.signs.use lets players use them
• nebula.home.others allows /home player:home, nebula.kit.others allows /kit name player
• nebula.chat.color allows colors in chat and nebula.chat.bypass skips anti-spam
• nebula.nick.color allows colors and gradients in nicknames
• nebula.trail.<name> unlocks a trail when trails.require-permission is enabled

Building

./gradlew build

The jar is created in build/libs. Run a test server with ./gradlew runServer.

Data

Homes, warps, balances, mail, mutes, bans and nicknames are stored in plugins/Nebula/data.yml. The file is written atomically, and a corrupted file is moved aside instead of being overwritten.
