Bio

Hi, I am a product developer. I built nudge, a voice-based productivity agent, and dev tools like the expediter that speed up development when working with coding agents in the terminal.

Besides voice AI and dev tools, I am interested in AI data/physical infrastructure + model behavior and security.

A few illustrative projects:

  1. knightsGPT: Can a GPT-2 variant trained on millions of games learn how to solve the knight's tour puzzle? (Spoiler: yes!)
  2. replicatingAlexnet: PyTorch-based replication of the classic computer vision paper, Krizhevsky et al. (2012).
  3. Thermal modeling of (99942) Apophis: We used non-linear optimization and a markov chain monte carlo algorithm to constrain the physical properties of the near-Earth asteroid (99942) Apophis. Other publications here.
  4. Tucson Effective Altruism: An organization I co-founded and scaled. Our improved capacity enables us to run a university course, upskilling programs, research-styled symposia, and weekly community events.
