DecisionAct

Every Action Is a Decision

A Python agent framework for building task-focused agents with predefined intents, tools, and outcomes.

DecisionAct uses decision models (Jev, Clef, etc.) to interpret user requests and select actions, then calls your tools to execute them. It brings structure to agent workflows through predefined intents, tools, and outcomes with reply templates.

Not every agent needs an LLM to handle its tasks. DecisionAct helps you build task-focused agents using decision models to interpret requests and choose actions, then calls your tools to execute them.

Refer to the example agent built with this framework.

Install the latest version: pip install decisionact

Available on v0.1.1 (latest) and v0.1.0 versions. See the changelog for release notes and upgrade guidance.
