mirth-tools now supports Open Integration Engine (v2.0.0)

Hi all, wanted to flag a small tool in case it's useful to anyone else migrating off Mirth Connect.

mirth-tools is a CI testing utility for integration engine transformation channels: it runs static HL7v2 request files through a channel and diffs the output against expected JSON responses, producing a JUnit report suitable for CI/Jira.

With v2.0.0 I moved the local dev/test stack from Mirth Connect 4.5.1 to a locally-built OIE 4.6.0 image, since NextGen closed-sourced Mirth and OIE is where the open-source continuation is happening. Main changes:

mirth/ directory renamed to engine/
Docker service renamed mirth → engine
MIRTH_HOST/MIRTH_HL7_PORT env vars renamed to ENGINE_HOST/ENGINE_HL7_PORT
Engine image is now built locally from a Dockerfile instead of pulled from Docker Hub

Verified builds, startup, the REST APIs, channel deployment, and custom library loading all work against OIE post-migration.

If anyone's doing similar CI/testing work against OIE channels, happy to compare notes, and flagging in case there's an ecosystem/tools list this should go on.
